  • Nine new products under Nutrilite Ayurveda; targets ₹100 crore business over the next two years
  • From responsible sourcing and collaboration with local farmers to manufacturing at its Tamil Nadu facility, the initiative strengthens the ‘Make in India’ vision
  • A blend of Ayurveda’s 5,000-year-old wisdom and Nutrilite’s 90 years of botanical science

Lucknow: Aligning with India’s nation-building priorities and the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, health and wellness company Amway India today announced a significant strategic expansion into Ayurveda with the launch of Nutrilite Ayurveda. The move comes at a time when consumers are increasingly turning towards plant-based products, prioritising preventive health, and as the Government continues to strengthen the AYUSH ecosystem.

The company has introduced nine new Ayurvedic products under the Nutrilite Ayurveda portfolio and aims to build the category into a ₹100 crore business over the next two years. The herbs used in these products are responsibly sourced from organically cultivated, NutriCert-certified farms, while the products are manufactured at Amway’s state-of-the-art facility in Tamil Nadu.

This initiative is not merely an expansion of Amway India’s product portfolio. It represents an opportunity to strengthen the entire Ayurveda-linked economic value chain in India—from responsible sourcing of herbs and support for local farming to manufacturing, scientific research, innovation and employment generation.

With over 90 years of Nutrilite’s expertise in botanical science and more than a decade of manufacturing capabilities in India, the company is bringing together centuries-old Ayurvedic wisdom with the rigour of modern science. This wellness approach has been developed in India, for India, and has the potential to take the country’s rich traditional wellness heritage to the world.

Speaking at the launch, Rajneesh Chopra, Managing Director, Amway India, said, “The entire landscape of traditional health and wellness in India is undergoing a transformation. The Government’s continued focus on strengthening AYUSH and positioning Ayurveda as an important part of the country’s healthcare ecosystem has provided a strong foundation for the growth of Ayurveda within India while also enhancing its global recognition.

As India continues to build its capabilities in Ayurveda-led innovation and manufacturing, this growing ecosystem can create new economic opportunities, strengthen India’s capabilities and help the country emerge as a global hub for traditional wellness. This direction aligns closely with both the next phase of Amway India’s growth and the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

Recognising the immense potential of Ayurveda, we aim to build Nutrilite Ayurveda into a ₹100 crore business over the next two years. With our deep expertise in nutrition, over 90 years of Nutrilite’s botanical science and a strong foundation in scientific evidence, Amway India is uniquely positioned to contribute to India’s strategic roadmap for Ayurveda.”

He further added, “Ayurveda is increasingly becoming a part of people’s everyday health and wellness routines. However, consumers today expect the same level of transparency, consistent quality and scientific validation from Ayurvedic products that they expect from modern wellness solutions.

At Nutrilite, we believe that trust is the foundation of every offering. For Nutrilite Ayurveda, ‘Every herb has a story, and we ensure its authenticity’ is not merely a promise. It reflects our commitment to the quality and traceability of every herb that reaches consumers, enabling them to embrace Ayurveda with confidence.”

In the first phase, three Ayurvedic formulations are being introduced to the market. Kalmegh supports healthy liver function. Shigru (Moringa) helps support the management of excess body fat and inflammation, while Vrikshamla (Garcinia) helps support metabolism and promotes a feeling of fullness.

Consumers are increasingly focusing on prevention rather than treatment. They also want to know where the ingredients used in their products come from, how effective they are and whether they are authentic. At the heart of this entire value proposition is Nutrilite, which for over 90 years has combined the best of nature and science.

With Nutrilite Ayurveda, this legacy now comes together with the time-tested knowledge of Ayurveda, addressing a significant need in the category for greater trust, transparency and reliability.

The portfolio is built on authentic Ayurvedic herbs responsibly sourced from organically cultivated, NutriCert-certified farms, reflecting Nutrilite’s long-standing commitment to sustainable agriculture and responsible sourcing. Each formulation is backed by Nutrilite’s R&D expertise and scientific evidence and undergoes stringent quality processes.

These include DNA fingerprinting, active ingredient testing and seed-to-supplement traceability to ensure authenticity, consistency and transparency. Products also undergo multi-stage testing for contaminants, heavy metals, microbiological safety and consistency of key marker compounds. These processes go beyond basic regulatory requirements to deliver the quality, authenticity and consistency that consumers associate with Nutrilite.

The portfolio also includes AYUSH-registered formulations, reinforcing Amway India’s commitment to developing products in accordance with the applicable regulatory framework and giving consumers greater confidence in the quality and authenticity of their choices.

The launch builds on the experience gained from the previously introduced Nutrilite Chyawanprash in the same category. Nutrilite Ayurveda is founded on the philosophy of evaluating centuries-old Ayurvedic formulations with the same precision and science-led approach that has defined Nutrilite for decades.

The first three products—Kalmegh, Shigru and Vrikshamla—will be available at MRPs of ₹449, ₹651 and ₹449, respectively, from September 8, 2026, through all authorised Amway channels, including Amway Business Owners/Distributors, Amway Stores, and the official Amway India website.
